Excellent book. I truly learned alot
Great book... Was recommended as useful read by a friend and it was difficult to put it down. It's meant not just for athletes but for anyone who aspires to have any kind of goal related to their physical performance. As a physician, I learned lessons for self improvement not only for myself but for my patients too. I specially liked the section about different exercises and workout and about dietary changes. The book has easy writing style and the author has broken down complicated concepts to make it adaptable to the common lifestyle. Loved it!
What a great tool...Dr. Rao covers so many important concepts important not only to the athlete's performance, but also the athlete's overall mental, physical and spiritual well-being. Plus, he's a sports med doc and knows the ins and outs of athletic injuries and their prevention. It doesn't matter if you're a high level athlete or a weekend warrior, you need to have this in your library!!!!
I luv luv luv this book. I'm a beginning athlete that wants a comprehensive way of healthy life. I'm ecstatic that the book includes tips on injury prevention and nutritional advice as well. It's well written easy to understand and follow and a great read for the beginner as well as a trained athlete in almost any sport!! Definitely worth buying.
Great books! Loads of useful information. I am not an athlete but I am constantly trying to improve my self through fitness. This book is a great help!
